YEARS AT KPR: 2008 – 2019

Having played for a number of clubs, most notably his beloved Railway FC on Sundays, during the 1990s, Dave is well-known as an efficient and uncompromising center back – if this reputation as a ‘hard man’ was enhanced further when playing without his dentures, they now play a role in his comic repertoire.

Always a natural leader, he and Osh abhorred the vaccum left by the demise of a former club. Although the pair may disagree exactly where the idea to start Keens Park rangers took root – Osh’s back garden or The Cricketer’s pub, beer was certainly involved – ‘lucky’ played a total of 92 matches for KPR and scored 15 goals in the process.

If this surpassed Osh’s 12 goals in 91 games (that’s gotta hurt!), Dave may have played many more games were it not for a club trip to Budapest, where some typically robust hi-jinx (and luck) forced him to hang up his boots and concentrate on management and his sons’, Archie and Connor, burgeoning careers.

Thanks Dave
